Speaker Benefits

  • Complimentary Registration
    Confirmed speakers and co-presenters will receive complimentary conference registration, including access to all networking events. Please note that specialty certifications and additional workshops are not included.

  • Exhibitor Opportunities
    Speakers may secure an exhibitor booth at the Trade Show at a discounted rate, if desired.

  • Professional Visibility
    Presenters will gain professional exposure through multiple platforms. Speaker profiles will be highlighted on the OALA website, featured in social media promotions, and may be included in conference brochures and member email campaigns.

  • Attendee List Access
    Following the conference, speakers will receive an attendee list for networking purposes. Please note that email addresses are not included.

Session Speaker Expectations

Delivering high-quality educational sessions is central to the mission of the Ohio Assisted Living Association. We seek presenters who are willing to share their expertise as a professional contribution, without expectation of payment. Please note that confirmed speakers will not receive compensation for their participation and are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses.

Presentation Standards

  • Sessions must remain educational in nature and may not include solicitations, promotional content, or advertising of any kind.
  • Speakers are expected to present in person, arrive at least sixty (60) minutes prior to the session start time, and bring their PowerPoint presentation on a portable drive.
  • Substantive changes to session content, format, audiovisual requirements, room setup, presenter identity or number, or scheduling (date/time) may not be made without prior approval.
  • Presenters must submit a polished, high-quality PowerPoint presentation in electronic format by the designated deadline to ensure availability for attendees.

Recording and Distribution
By agreeing to present, speakers grant OALA permission to record audio and/or video of their session. These recordings may be posted on the OALA website for on-demand learning or used in future educational products or media.
