Call for Presenter Proposals:
Planning is underway for the 2026 Ohio ACEP Annual Meeting, and we want you to be part of it! The Event Planning Task Force is seeking proposals for high-quality, 10-minute lightning presentations on topics that matter to our members—such as advocacy, reimbursement, wellness, ethics, policy, professional growth, risk management, medical trends, and more.
If you’re an Ohio ACEP Chapter member with a compelling idea to share, we invite you to apply to present.
Applications and CVs must be submitted by January 1! Deadline Extended!
2026 Board of Directors & Councillor Elections
Interested in serving the Chapter on the Board of Directors or as a Councillor?
Board Members and Councillors will be elected by ballot by majority vote of the Chapter membership at the Chapter's Annual Meeting on May 13.
Application Deadline: March 5, 2026
Board of Directors Elections
- Three (3) Board Members will be elected by the membership to serve a three-year term.
- Current Board members with expiring terms are eligible for re-nomination and re-election if they have not already served two consecutive elected terms.
- Their terms of office will begin at the close of the Annual Meeting at which they are elected.
Councillor Elections
We are seeking members interested in representing the Ohio Chapter on ACEP Council. ACEP Council is the deliberative and representative body that meets once a year for two days prior to the College’s annual Scientific Assembly (Council is planned to be held in Chicago, IL on October 3 & 4, 2026). The Council votes on resolutions, elects members to the National ACEP Board of Directors, and ensures grassroots involvement in the democratic decision-making process.
- Councillors will be elected by the membership to serve a 2-year term.
- Current Councillors with expiring terms are eligible for re-nomination and re-election.
All Candidates should plan to register and attend the Ohio ACEP Annual Meeting on May 13.
