Since 2003, the Friends Of The Hocking Hills State Park has provided over $1.7 million in support to Hocking Hills State Park, ranging from ensuring food for injured raptors, to providing naturalist program supplies, to rerouting State Route 664, to building the John Glenn Astronomy Park. If park management requests our assistance, we raise funds to provide what is needed.

Because of the Coronavirus outbreak, ODNR will close Hocking Hills State Park at sunset on 4/3 until further notice. This closure includes Ash Cave, Cantwell Cliffs, Cedar Falls, Old Man’s Cave, Rock House and Whispering Cave. This closure also includes Conkle’s Hollow State Nature Preserve and John Glenn Astronomy Park.
