CALL FOR RESOLUTIONS & DELEGATES

February - Submit resolutions for OOA Board of Trustees to review

March 15 - Final Deadline to submit resolutions to the OOA

 

The annual Ohio Osteopathic Association (OOA) House of Delegates (HOD) will be held on Friday, April 19th in Columbus during the annual Ohio Osteopathic Symposium April 18-21, 2024.  
 
 
What is the House of Delegates? The OOA House of Delegates is the policy making body for the osteopathic profession in Ohio and is currently lead by Speaker David A. Bitonte, DO and Vice Speaker Michael E. Dietz, DO
 
Who Can Author and Introduce Resolutions? ANY CAOM/OOA member in good standing may author a resolution. Each resolution is then sponsored by the local district academy serving that member. For tips on writing better resolutions, CLICK HERE
 
 
The CAOM and the OOA rely on the support and participation of their members in shaping the health policy of tomorrow.  Submitting resolutions for action directly influences the OOA advocacy agenda and has the potential to shape American Osteopathic Association agenda at the national HOD each July.  
 
Please contact CAOM's OOA trustee Katherine Eilenfeld, DO or CAOM Executive Director Kristin Scott if you are interested in authoring a resolution or serving as a district delegate at this important upcoming event. Resolutions can also be sent directly to Teri Collins at the OOA.
