Delaware County has been one of the fastest-growing counties in Ohio over the last three decades. County entities are working as a team to prepare for the future. This presentation will review how various planning-related initiatives, such a Comprehensive Plans, Corridor Studies, and GIS analysis informed zoning amendments and overlays. This work enabled the proper planning of utilities, particularly sewer service which set the table for future development. From an Economic Development standpoint, financial tools have been put in place incentivize and attract selected development and related talent. Specific projects discussed will include the Berlin Business Park, the I-71 interchange area, and the southeastern corner of the County which will be directly impacted by Intel-related development.
